The Foundation Festival is an annual star-citizen community event focusing on supporting new players, collaborative learning, the official Guide System, organizations and community activities.
Which offers are actually available in 2026 depends exclusively on the current official announcements. Previous Free Fly or referral actions are no proof that the same conditions apply in 2026.
Foundation Festival Free Fly 2026
Confirmed – Start at 29 July
The Foundation Festival Free Fly starts at the 29 July 2026. During a Free Fly you can try Star Citizen for a limited time without your own Game Package.
RSI has not yet released the end date, the list of free testable ships and the exact activation. This information will be added as soon as the full official festival overview is available.

ATLS Foundation Festival Paint
Watch a total of four hours on a Star Citizen stream with activated Twitch Drops.
The reward is exclusively a painting. An Argo ATLS is not included.
Qualifying Subscription
Banu Lockbox Replica
Complete a new recurring subscription or poison subscription with a participating Star Citizen streamer during the campaign.
Prime subscriptions, existing extensions and subscription tokens do not count according to the official action page.

RSI has announced a free Argo ATLS as Foundation Festival Referral Reward. However, the full terms and conditions have not yet been published.

Help for new players
To the Foundation Festival, RSI updates the Welcome Hub and the official Guide System. In the Guide System, new players can ask experienced players for personal assistance in basics, flights, missions, combat, mining, trading and other activities.
