Alpha reality check

Star Citizen continues to be a Alpha project. This not only means that content is missing or later, but also that the technology is still not stable or predictable. Especially new players should know that low FPS, Ruckler, server problems, lags, crashes, long loading times, login problems or errors can occur when switching between locations.

Especially demanding are often large cities, heavily attended events, new patches and situations with many players or ships. Server status and current knowledge issues can also strongly influence how the game feels on a particular day. A bad first impression therefore does not always have to be on your PC, but a weak PC makes technical problems much more likely.

Keep the expectations realistic and test as far as possible during a Free Fly on your own PC. Not only is it crucial whether Star Citizen starts, but whether you can live with the technical Alpha reality.
