Community & discussion

Reddit /r/starcitizenReddit can help you follow discussions, player experiences, bugs and community topics. It is useful context, but not every post is objective or current. Questions on SpectrumFor official discussions, finding an organisation or asking the community directly, Spectrum is often a better starting point than scattered social media threads.

Mods & translations

Star Citizen does not currently have a complete official German localization. Community projects can translate menus and descriptions, but they are not made by Cloud Imperium Games or Roberts Space Industries. Download them only from the project’s own official page.

Trade, prices and routes

Community tools are useful but not authoritative. Prices, stock, routes and patch data may be delayed or incomplete, so verify important information against the current state of the game.

SC Trade ToolsPlan trade routes and look up commodities, shops and equipment. The tool becomes useful when you begin exploring Cargo Hauling, trading or mining. UEXExplore data on commodities, routes, markets, mining, ships and the in-game economy. UEX is most useful once you want to investigate trading in more depth.

Which tools do you really need when starting out?

You do not need ten tools for your first session. Star Citizen already presents enough new terms, menus and locations.

  • This site provides a calm guide to your first decisions.
  • Use the official RSI website for your account, the launcher and first-party information.
  • Spectrum or Reddit can help with specific questions and recent player experiences.
  • Trading tools become useful later, when you deliberately try Cargo Hauling, trading or mining.
